Bitnetix was founded in 2006 to provide outsourced IT management and consulting services to non-profits and small/medium businesses.  Through its SmartVox brand, it also provides Voice over IP (VoIP) services through both on-site and cloud-based hosted servers.  Bitnetix is also a recognized leader in the field of IT monitoring, and has received numerous awards and accolades for its work with Nagios, including the 2014 and 2015 Nagios MVP awards.  Bitnetix continues to provide quality IT support as well as Enterprise class VoIP services at warehouse club prices through SmartVox.

 

Bitnetix joined High Tech Rochester (now Nextcorps) in 2012 after participating in the TEN program, the Rochester Venture Challenge, and the Rochester Urban League’s Small Business Teaming Pilot Program.

 

Headquartered slightly east of Rochester, New York, Bitnetix is committed to returning a portion of its revenues to local charities every year.
