The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN)

About The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN)

The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN) is a four-month accelerator program for startups or existing businesses and is one of Upstate New York’s fastest growing initiatives designed to bolster new ventures. TEN members do better; whether they are winning government grants and contracts, increasing revenues with effective sales and marketing strategies, or securing equity financing.

Who participates?

TEN is for technology based companies in the Upstate New York area. TEN participants are typically founders, senior executives, CEOs or others who hold a controlling position in a scalable, high-revenue potential, family-owned, or ownership transitioning firm. Members are usually early stage technology and life sciences startups or established small businesses.

What happens at TEN?

TEN is facilitated as four “boot camp” sessions by experts in the fields of marketing, sales, finance, leadership, growth strategies, and investor presentations.  TEN has been described as “an Executive MBA on steroids.” Each session is an immersive educational experience.

Instructors are successful entrepreneurs, investors, or industry professionals who are currently working in their field of expertise.  Derby Management, EFPR, Butler/Till, and Worldleaders Sales Solutions are a few of the expert instructors.

Each session evaluates aspects of building a strong company.  Every topic is introduced by experts and followed by a hands-on workshop to apply critical concepts immediately. After each “boot camp” participants are given a task to apply to their business specifically. A team of coaches meet one-on-one with entrepreneurs between sessions to provide guidance. Whether the participant is working on a financial business model or a successful investor pitch, their coach is able to support them.

“I’d highly recommend this program to entrepreneurs who want to know how it’s done.”

“My TEN class provided the tools I needed to address my ‘salesman problem,’ and it gave me the incentive to keep driving forward with new strategies and ideas that I heard from others. My thanks to the team who helped me and others take our business to that next level.”
Bruce Sidari, Vice President
