Each year, the Intelligent Community Forum names the world’s most Intelligent Community. This process starts with the announcement of the Smart21 Communities of the Year, semi-finalists for the award. Rochester has twice been named a Smart21 community by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) for our innovative efforts to serve the public. The 2020 Smart21 Announcement will take place in Rochester, New York. The City of Rochester is proud to host experts from around the world to discuss ways technology can best serve communities during the Intelligent Community Forum’s Smart21 Global Cities Conference Oct. 21-23, 2019.
The event will bring together the founders of the ICF, representatives from Rochester area companies and organizations, along with Intelligent Communities from around the USA and the world.
Any city leader, stakeholder, or business interested in smart and Intelligent cities is invited to attend this educational and fantastic networking event.
The conference is planned with the following events (details of arrangements will be communicated separately):
– Monday, October 21st – 5:30 – 8:30 : reception event at the Magic Center at The Rochester Institute of Technology (300 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, NY 14623)
– Tuesday, October 22nd – 8:00 – 5:00 : conference event at the Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa (550 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607)
– Tuesday, October 22nd – 5:30 – 8:00 : dinner and announcement of ICF Smart21 for 2020 at Arbor at the Port (1000 North River Street, Rochester, New York 14612)
– Wednesday, October 23rd – 8:30 – 12:00 : hosted bus tour of City of Rochester
