RocGrowth Candids is a bi-monthly event featuring regional entrepreneurs who share their personal stories and the lessons they’ve learned building successful businesses. We also feature innovative leaders who impact our community’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Agriculture and food are important contributors to the regional economy. We are blessed with the natural resources and intellectual capital so that this sector will continue to lead the region’s economic recovery.
On Wednesday, March 6th, we will host Zach Sarkis, co-founder of Flower City Solutions and NYHempLab, and Michele Liddle, founder of The Perfect Granola. Learn why they consider the Finger Lakes to be an ideal location to start a company producing innovative granola bars and seize a leadership position in the burgeoning hemp industry.
We start and finish with informal kibitzing over drinks and hors d’oeuvres. In between, we will conduct an open interview led by Alex Zapesochny, publisher of the Rochester Beacon.
