Accounting 101: Recordkeeping & Software Options
This Lunch-N-Learn sessoin is designed to give business owners and non-financial professionals the tools for understanding, analyzing and interpreting financial statements. In addition to learning general accounting terminology, you’ll also master the fundamentals of recordkeeping and what accounting softwares and third party applications are available to assist. Experienced professionals from EFPR Group will share best practices and helpful tips to successfully use financial statements to benefit your organization.
Speakers:
Christine M. DeSimon, CPA – Christine is a supervisor in EFPR Group’s Tax and Business Services Department. She has been with EFPR Group since 2012 and has over four years of experience in a broad range of industries. Christine offers a variety of tax and accounting services to a client base including individuals and closely-held entities. She specializes in traditional tax compliance services, financial statement preparation, and assistance with bookkeeping. Christine has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Brockport. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Tiffany Huff, CPA – Tiffany is a Senior Accountant in EFPR Group’s Tax and Business Services department. She has been with EFPR Group since 2016 and has over three years of experience in a broad range of industries. Tiffany offers a variety of tax and accounting services to clients including individual, partnersip, and corporate tax preparation. She also specializes in tax compliance and financial statement preparation. Additionally, she assists clients with bookkeeping and is a Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor. Tiffany has her MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Oswego.
