A compelling business pitch requires a set of slides that support your claims and the questions that an investor will have. The problem is that every investor has a different idea of what those slides ought to be! Trying to make a pitch deck that works for all investors results in a “lowest common denominator” pitch that satisfies no one. The solution is to create and maintain a “master deck” of slides from which you can select the few best slides for a specific situation.
