A typical person goes to their physician once a year, which provides just one set of data points around their personal health. ExPrimary, a Luminate cohort III startup, is working to increase the depth of information we’re able to acquire by making bioanalytical tools less expensive, more accessible, and easier to use. Sean Higgins, PhD, talks with Luminate Technology Program Manager, Damon Diehl, PhD, about ExPrimary’s mission to bring instruments and complex testing as close as possible to the individual. By collecting data at more regular intervals, we’ll be able to identify trends and transform how we approach healthcare and disease from reactive to preventative.
